Description
Known as the national dish of Jordan, Mansaf is rice cooked over a special blend of yoghurt and Jameed (fermented dried yoghurt) and meat stock. The rice is served over a layer of thin bread (khubz shrak) that is coated with some of the yoghurt mix, with a topping of lamb meat and garnished with parsley and roasted nuts (almonds) and served along an extra serving of the yoghurt soup mix.
