Description
In its literal sense, Albasha Waasakro means a high ranking official and his men (Albasha: derived from Ottoman Turkish Pasha and aasakro: his army men/soldiers). It is a dish that combines two Syrian main courses Kibbeh Labania (bulgur wheat with a meat filling) and Shish Barak (dumpling-like dough with a meat filling) cooked in a yoghurt sauce. Served with rice.
